Killiekrankie

Prologue Killiecrankie – Your titanium hardtail, dialed for either XC race duty or all-mountain play. Build it with a 120 mm fork and short 438 mm stays for whip-fast trail shredding, or spec 130 mm travel for rowdy singletrack—you call the shots.

Feature:

  • Material – 3AL/2.5V butted titanium soaks up chatter on chattery climbs yet snaps back under power when you pin it.

  • Configurable Travel – Choose 120 mm for laser-quick XC racing or 130 mm for extra trail confidence; 48 mm fork rake keeps handling predictable.

  • Tire Clearance – Room for up to 27.5×2.8″ rubber so you can run supple sidewalls for comfort without halo-effect toe overlap.

  • Brake Mounts – Post-mount flat-disc tabs accept 160 mm rotors for fierce stopping power.

  • Custom Fit – From seat-tube length to stack, reach and everything in between, geometry is built to your body—no off-the-shelf compromises.

Why “Killiecrankie”?
Named for the rugged Scottish mountain range where early MTB and fell-running legends first tested their mettle, the Killiecrankie frame is your passport to epic climbs, rowdy descents, and endless adventure—no chairlift required.

FRAME DESIGN:

  • The slack 67.5° head-tube angle and long wheelbase turn chatter into a gentle vibration, so rough rock gardens feel more like polished pavement.

  • High stack and moderate reach put you in an upright, relaxed posture—less lower-back fatigue and more neck relief even on extended outings.

  • Short 445 mm stays let you flick the bike from side to side, yet the low BB and controlled fork rake keep the chassis steady when you lean hard into berms.

  • A 73° seat-tube angle locks your hips over the cranks for spritely climbs without feeling overly cramped or out-of-position.
